About Ruchita Design Company
Our mission is what drives us to do everything possible to make the fabrics, that you love, colorful and beautiful. We do that by creating innovative textile projects, making our designs more exciting, building a creative and diverse team and making a positive impact in the world of fashion.
Shaped upon the strong pillars of dedication, discipline and inspiration, this design studio is set up with a belief that, “Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.”
Located at the business capital of India, Ruchita Design Company is one of its kind textile design companies focused on creating exclusive print patterns, trend moodboards, season-based designs for men, women, kids, home furnishings and wallpapers.
Our founder – Ruchita’s journey
Ruchita Gudhka is a print visionary with an extraordinary ability to blend dreams into reality.
She comes from a small town where she was surrounded with textiles, as her father is a textile maven himself. A postgraduate in textile design from Mumbai University, Ruchi always knew her passion lied in the art that made everything around her colorful. Having traveled across many states, and countries, Ruchita has been exposed to styles and flavors of different genres. These culminate to serve as an inspiration towards her intricate designs.
Ruchita has over 10 years of work experience in textile designing. She has designed fabrics with Bombay Rayon Fashion Ltd and Shrijee Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., two of the country’s leading textile manufacturers. In these companies, Ruchita has been the lead designer for many brands such as, Linen Vogue, Avant Moda, Cranberry. Her designs range is truly diverse, from block prints to florals, from Paisley, to tye-dye, from checks to tropical intrinsic detailed drawings.
International Textile Exhibitions
To expand her horizon, Ruchita traveled to textile exhibitions Pitti Umo, Milano Unica. Here she met with international delegates of the industry, which helped her look at the industry from a completely new perspective, which led her to think that she can bring those experiences back to her country.
Ruchita Design Studio is the outcome of these experiences and motivation. It will inspire the prints in both, traditional hand illustration artwork, and modern computer aided design. That’s not all, her team has a specialized training by which they convert your vision (for your textiles) into reality.
